WHAT'S OUR STORY
Pinkham Lighthouse is London’s newest arthouse cinema and community venue in the heart of Kensal Rise, NW10. This exciting venture is the brainchild of local entrepreneur Sally Wilton, who sold her business etc.venues in 2006, the year the NW London tornado ripped apart the local community. Sally has brought her life-long dream of running an independent cinema to life with the help of a devoted cast and crew, many of whom are local residents, cinema aficionados and film buffs.
All the fun and sparkle is backed by serious ethical issues. Sally believes it is essential for communities to get the most out of the world’s natural resources to enable a bright and sustainable future. As a dedicated Social Enterprise, we raise funds for ground-breaking community action in South Africa.
With its glittering launch in October 2008, Pinkham Lighthouse is set to become a showcase venue in the UK, highlighting the power of involvement and colourful thinking.
